born in Mumbai, is now based in Dubai. Art is her passion.
She believes that true art is characterized by an irresistible urge towards creative
freedom and self expression.

 
 

She is a self taught artist and enjoys doing different mediums like oil, acrylics and mixed media paintings. She has learned Graphic designing, jewellery designing but her interest always moved towards fine arts which she has cultivated by attending workshops in Dubai International Art Centre in Jumeirah. Her work unintentionally materialized into drawing, modern painting and mostly figurative works. There are times when the strongest of her inner feelings are expressed in a small pencil sketch which might translate into a bigger canvas.

She likes to experiment with colours, figures, patterns and has always been inspired by Indian culture and sculptures . They just amaze her. She loves bringing life to canvas usually portraits, figurative reflects Indian culture and ethics. She has done series of Rajasthani, Tanjore, Buddha , Krishna paintings , Angels , Horses, abstract paintings etc.

She has always been encouraged by her family and friends to take part in various exhibitions and always got appreciation and encouragement.

artist Statement.

 

Sometimes expressing through words are impossible for me. I express through my paintings .I like to capture beauties who tries to hold the eye of the viewer. My paintings are mostly surrealism which I have back of my mind.

INDIA my mother land- The land of spirituality, culture, ethics ,colours has always been my source of inspiration for my painting which helps me to nurtures my passion for art . I experiment doing Krishna paintings , Rajasthani princess- Beautiful eyes Tanjore paintings which are very dear to me.
