The connection is a painting is inspired by social media. Trees that are connected with other trees through our stories, similar to each other, and yet stand out to have our own individuality. The different colors on the trees represent the individualism of people and how connected they feel through social media. It shows the reach of information that can be shared. The artist wants to show how much has social media influenced impacted and has become a major part of our lives, especially during this pandemic. The trunk and the roots show how much of social media is embedded in us and how strong its roots are.
